A shimmering place of massive proportions, salt beds cover this land, most likely left behind by a long dead sea. Nothing grows for miles around thought surprisingly enough, the temperatures stay moderate though wind storms have a tendency to kick up at unexpected moments. During these storms ass can blow up from the Shadow Fields and change the contour of the land, making navigation impossible and getting lost a real problem.
