Arranged Marriages . . . er mates.

So like back in the days of kings and queens and nobles to seal an alliance and secure their allies nobles would select one of their young to be married off to be wed to the prince or princess of the other land. Of course back then it also could be to their cousin but we'll bypass that for modern standards. I could see Ashliya doing that to keep peace between her pack and the pack that would be closest to her or she felt more allied with.

That being said I know it would be awhile but we could a moon ritual or something fancy sounding that would promise when of age they would swap either a beta or alpha pup to be wed to their chosen heir to the pack? That way that member would be the second alpha of the pack and keep their pack from ever attacking their home land. So there's a political gain from this. For the pups involved (once we get some Alpha/beta pups) it is an arranged marriage. So they have to go through with it (all the juicy plots we can come up with from there). So when the pups becomes of age (1 to 1 1/2 years or whatever the breeding age is for them) they'll be escorted to meet their future mates.

I kinda want to see a plot like this so if anyone is interested reply here with your own ideas and let me know what you think of it and add to it or tell me you don't like the idea. XD
